Swensen`s in Coral Gables

Server was great, took a little long getting our food but the food was great! Truffle mac and cheese is the best!! Order an oreo overload was not like it use to be. But all and all great service and food.

The food is great friendly service but it takes a long time to get your food to the table sometimes

I went to eat lunch with my son today. Our server was awesome very sweet & attentive coming over to see how we were doing. Our food was delicious we had burgers & fries, the ice cream/chocolate shake was awesome. I highly recommended Swensen's 👍.

Great ice cream as always. The place has changed a bit but was happy to be served by a very nice guy who knows the place's history. It has been years since I started coming here. Very fond memories

The chocolate shake can't be beat. I only wish they would invest on the look of the place. Been going there for 25 years and the wood paneling and bathrooms, although clean, show their age and take away from the experience

Love coming here for ice cream. Great Banana Split. Good burgers and fries. Nice place to hang out with friends and family for a simple dinner and GREAT dessert😎.

An amazing place! I ordered the burger melt with the beer battered cheese fries and dulce de leche milkshake which was amazing🔥 Customer service was great. And can't forget to add that they are open till 1am 😃 Definitely coming back!

I grew up going to Swensen's. Their ice cream is still the best, but their food is mediocre. If you want to stop for ice cream, this is the place, but if you want something fast and tasty for dinner, not my first choice.

I was pleasantly surprised of how good the food was. Had the Truffle Mac n Cheese and the Nica sliders and they were phenomenal. The place is not modernized but well kept. Staff is friendly.

Friendly service and menu has a good variety. They have a seperate menu just for tjr ice cream. Our party chose a few different items and shared since they have generous portion sizes. Restuarant has an old school/traditional feel.

It's been a long time since I've indulged in a Sticky Chewy Chocolate Sundae, but after 10 years, it was exactly as I remembered. It's so sweet, you need to chase it with a glass of ice water.It was a nostalgic experience.

This place is great! There is a super selection of burgers and the shakes just hit the spot. I order delivery regularly through Bite Squad. I definitely recommend this place to anyone in the SoMi area. Located right on South Dixie Highway

Had never been here before came with my wife and some friends (the moms) of hers after our daughters graduation. I found it to be an awesome place. Food was delicious service was top notch 👍for sure I will be coming back!!! Great spin on the burgers 😋👍👌

I've been coming here for about 30 years. The menu underwent a major change a few years back. I've gotta say that it was in large part a good change. Burgers are new and trendy. Things like guava and pastelitos on burgers. Fried cheese and eggs... They left the ice cream untouched. Amen to that. It's worth checking this place out - especially if you have kids!

Really good quality burgers and fries. I recommend any of the shakes. Nice atmostsphere and the waiters and waitresses are nice and effiecent.

Waitress was very good only issue was a chicken sandwich took forever to come out of the kitchen.

It's a great family place and a tradition starter. My first visit to Swensen was about 30 year ago while dating my wife, while the kids were growing up they loved to go to Swensen's after the UM baseball games, the place has not changed since then and l like that. Now that the kids are grown up they still go to Swensen's with their dates. Everything l have ordered has been delicious and I have never had a problem with their service even when the place has been packed.The only thing I wish they would bring back is the Gourmet Burger but those cajun fries are awesome. The ice cream and shakes are delicious.

Excellent food. The nachos were unexpectedly fantastic. We go for the ice cream. The service is sometimes slow. The food prices are higher because they have a higher end menu. Not your typical ice cream parlor menu.

The food was interesting. This used to be one of my favorite places however, they changed the food menu and honestly the service is not the same. Our waitress was a bit absent. The saving grace is still their ice cream. I go there for the "Chocolate Macadamian Crunch". That is still delicious.

Came in after a concert for a late night treat - was not disappointed! Great ice cream parlor with really great flavor combinations and flavors! Well priced too - really yummy and fun. Below are pics of the caramel nut brownie (with the hot fudge brownie sundae in the background) and the KitKat candy bar sundae with caramel sauce and a chocolate covered cherry :)

OK the signs on the door stating they prefer cash is odd. They do take CC. Parking lot is very small, so not sure where you park if it's full. However, it's nostalgic and takes you back to the chain in their prime. I recommend checking it out. The restaurant is kind of small, but has all the great ice cream flavors and full menu you were used to. And if curious, yes they still have the earthquake! My kids loved the sundaes and their traditional wafer cookies. Burgers were great as well.

This place used to be a staple in South Miami years ago. After a revamp and new management it has gone down Hill. Very overpriced for okay food. Staff was friendly enough, but not the good old family style they had once. Not worth the money overall. We won't be returning. Sad because we once LOVED this place!

I didn't realize they have a full 5 page menu on Ice Cream. Mind Blown! I opted for the Oreo cookie nuttela funnel cake. It was massive. 5 stars.

Delicious food and quick service! The menu has plenty of options that include burgers, sandwiches, salads and dessert. The protein wrap was delicious and I loved the sweet potato fries. Their cookie dough ice cream sundae was amazing.

If I could do less, I would! Chicken fingers and grilled cheese were horrible. Chocolate shake and vanilla fudge sundae were too. Funky vanilla ice cream and not enough fudge to cover it up. $60 plus tip thrown away :(. Service was good though.

The best thing about Swensen’s is that it’s been around FOREVER! Obviously you must be doing something right to last this long in Miami. My husband grew up in Miami and used to visit Swensen’s as a child. I first visited this restaurant when I was 19 and a new resident of Miami. So much that used to be in this area is gone. It’s really nice to see that something has survived for more than 30 years! The menu is pretty big. I like to scour the specialty burgers. My favorite is the Nica. It’s a Nicaraguan themed burger with fried cheese, vinegar coleslaw, fried plantains, and chimmichurri sauce on a burger patty. My daughter loves the buffalo chicken sandwich. My husband loves the bacon grilled cheese because that’s what he used to get as a kid. They even have a veggie burger for my vegan son. Everyone loves the desserts.
